Drum prices can vary depending size and options, such as if you would like a tail to be attached as a part of your personal Medicine. This could be anything from genuine tails and/or faces of Red Fox, Arctic (White) Fox, Silver Fox, Coyote, Brush Wolf, Linx, Martin, etc. to feathers (all sources I get these from harvest them legally and ethically, with the mindset of not wasting any part of an animal). I can also add genuine Buffalo hide around the Drum. Likewise, I will also include a Drum stick kit with firs, feathers, beads, and everything needed for a complete drum stick that will allow you to create one that reflects your personal Medicine. I like to include a "kit" for the simple reason that the personal connection to your Drum is very important and allows yet another personal link to its creation, even if it is me who makes the Drum. If that is something you would prefer I make for you, I can do so for a small charge.

All my Drums are octogon in shape. They make for a stronger Drum and one that retains its shape. This also allows us to use solid wood which allows for it to vibrate unlike a willow hoop, for example. The hides we use are Elk, which seems to be the best for sound, and that wet out the least in a sweat lodge.

"Plain" means completed Elk Drum and Drum stick kit only. "Adorned" means I give a price range which is fluid depending on availability, size, and type of animal Medicine you are wanting.

Options:
If you would like an added tail and/or face, and/or feathers, the price can be $30-$40 extra.

If you would like genuine Buffallo hide taken from a top quality tanned Buffalo on any drum, please add $50.

For enough small, top quality Buffalo hide pieces to addorn your Drum stick, please add an additional $15.

If you would like for me to make your Drum stick rather than just provide you a kit, please add $10 to the order.

Terms and Conditions:

We reserve the right to refuse services to any customer prior to acceptance of terms by both customer and agents of BlackWolf Drums in writing (via e-mail), and prior to acceptance of payment by BlackWolf Drums. All sales and service is dependant up on both parties agreeing on price, and receipt of deposit payment and/or payment in full. Since all drums are "made to order" no drums are started until we speak, as I like to put make the drum personal for you. The process of making a drum involves about 2 days of soaking hides, a couple of days in making Drum frames by a skilled frame maker, and several hours stretching hide and adding any embellishments.

Drums orders require a 50% deposit in U.S. funds. The remaining balance owed on the Drum will be due and payable in full prior to shipping. If you choose to back out of the order you may do so up until the shipping date, minus a 25% re-stocking/ handling fee of the total price of the drum you ordered.

Payment forms accept are Paypal or a Money Order drawn in U.S. funds.

Drums are typically shipped within 3 weeks (sometimes sooner) once payment is accepted AND cleared, unless specialty fur and adornments are on back order. On the rare occasion it could be longer, you will be entitled to a refund in full if not shipped by end of the 21st day, unless a longer wait time is agreed up in advance on by known delays in tails/fur, Elk hides, etc. You do have the option of receiving the Drum earlier, and back ordered fir sent subsequently if on back order.

All sales are final. Drums are insured during shipping and will be replaced accordingly if damaged during shipping only.

They are also ceremonially blessed with herbs and smoke traditionally sacred to the Red Road. Special ceremonial considerations are taken on a case-by-case bases, so feel free to request them.
